Firtst of all… I love non American films. Well this one is American, but south America and that is something completly diferent.
It is about Rio de Janieros suburbs fo 60′s 70′s and 80′s, pople who grew in this place, gangs and some of events that may accualy be based on true stories.
Very strong point of the film is the way it have been edited: rapid-cutting to flash back and forth in timejumping with the story, showing events that are related to the main story. Is it chaotic…? NO!! it is anything but chaotic, every single scene has its purpose.
In my opinion exceptionally entertaining and absorbing, fast action. Definytly Good Film To Watch and I will watch it again some day.
