No Man’s Land (2001)

no man's landFilm about Bosnian War..

Two enemy soldiers trapped in abandoned trench in No Man’s Land (under gunfire of both sides). Unable to escape without getting shot by either side.

The Unprofor unit is ment fix it all, but it is not easy to work between enemy lines. When on top of all that you add a bunch of jurnalists who are hunting for “story of the day” and find out about the thing.. you get a Good Film.

For me preaty sad story, taken easy and sometimes humorous style. I would recomend you watch this one!!!

Good Film: City Of God (2002)

City Of God-mediumFirtst of all… I love non American films. Well this one is American, but south America and that is something completly diferent.
It is about Rio de Janieros suburbs fo 60′s 70′s and 80′s, pople who grew in this place, gangs and some of events that may accualy be based on true stories.

Very strong point of the film is the way it have been edited: rapid-cutting to flash back and forth in timejumping with the story, showing events that are related to the main story. Is it chaotic…? NO!! it is anything but chaotic, every single scene has its purpose.

In my opinion exceptionally entertaining and absorbing, fast action. Definytly Good Film To Watch and I will watch it again some day.
